Dear friends !!

Please let me know ...

let's suppose that I was selected as québec skilled worker ...

but I found jobs out of québec ... can I leave ???

It depends on what kind of agreement you make with them. If you sign a paper saying that you commit yourself to living in Quebec for a certain number of years, that is what you have to do. I have heard a rumour that some PNP in some province requires you to stay there for 3 years but I have not verified this. I believe AB just makes you sign that your intention is to settle down in AB permanently. I have heard some others just require you to make an attempt to settle there. If there is no time limit you have to stay and you make an attempt to settle in Quebec but can't get a job or lose your job while you get an offer from another province, they can't really blame you for leaving.

Hiii
As a PR u can work and stay anywhere you want in Canada. Dont worry about even if u re selected by quebec. Never mind. They dont care!!!!!!!!!!!1

Once you get PR, yes but for many of the PNP's, they require you to sign that you intend to settle in that province and if you apply for QSW, you are signing that you intend to live in Quebec so it would not be advisable for somebody who gets PR through those programs to go and land in a different province than the one that issued them the PR. So far I have not heard about the provincial governments going after anybody who decided not to settle there but that doesn't mean that they aren't or wont in the future.

There would not be much point for any province to have their own immigration programs if people can just land anywhere they want. I would advise anybody to go with what they signed to be their intentions for at least 6 months so they can not be accused of having lied on their applications.

My impression is that... legally speaking... "intend to reside in Quebec" isn't very strong legal language. Think about trying to convict someone of "intending to do one thing" who then changed their mind and did another?

I signed that letter of intent - but it didn't say I *will* live in QC, I promise to live there, it didn't give a # of years or anything. I wouldn't worry about it terribly.

And yet, for some reason I agree that I would stay for at least 6 months. Personally, I would stay for longer - I plan to stay at least 3 years. I'm not sure why... honor?

as far as i know your first landing must be quebec than anywhere in canada..... may be after fulfiling certain formalities... all the best
