Hi there, can someone help me with my problem, my mother granted a multiple entry in Canada this November and the expiration is July 2013, but i am planning her to stay here for 2 years, the problem is how could i renew her visa if the expiration is next year of July. Can someone help me please what to do

Ask your mother to renew her passport. After she get a new passport, apply for a super visa if you are eligible.

do you mean if she enter Canada I will let her renew her passport here in Canada and i will ask the immigration if if she can qualify for a multiple entry. Does this mean it is not a visa. I am already confused. I want to bring her here this last week of November 2012

If your mom enter Canada using the visa issued in November later in the month, there are no issues. But if your mom get a new passport before she enter Canada, it will be a problem because the visa would be void.

So the visa is still a visa in the first scenario. After she came to Canada, she can try to extend her stay in Canada either by mailing application or try at the land border.

Since you want your mother to come to Canada by the end of this month, applying the supervisa might not work for you depending on your situation.

Would it be possible if my mom enter Canada by the end of this month can she renew her passport here. sorry lots of questions in my mind to be answered. Thanks

Like I said, sure your mother can enter Canada if the visa is still valid. You would need to check with the country if they have a consulate/embassy in Canada to process renew passports.

Hi remzen0728,

Many Congrats! that your mother got multiple entry visa. I am also trying to apply for multiple TRV for my mother. Could you please advise which documents you had submitted to prove strong ties to country of residence. Thanks and Regards,

Hi SMED74, sorry for the late reply it is been a long time since I open the forum, we just only submitted the xerox copy of the land title, letter of invitation, notice of assessment of my husband and I, xerox of our PR and Driver's License. That's the documents we brought to my mother

Thanks.

Can someone answer my query plss. My mother already came here in Canada last November 2012 for multiple entry. Is it possible that I can apply her here in Canada a Permanent Resident?

Thanks and more power

Hi remzen0728,

My mom has the same multiple entry visa as your mom's with the expired date up until 2020. Do you have any ideas that if I am able to buy a more-than-6-month-round-trip flight ticket for her?
What kinda flight ticket did you buy your mom?

Thank you.
