Multiple Entries Visa But Unique entry on Work permit

I got a 3 years multiple entry worker visa. But the immigration officer gave me a work permit with a single entry.
Now I'm working in Toronto, Ontario. I urgently need to go to Africa for my holidays.
Will I have any problem when returning to Canada after my holidays?

1. Work visa aren't single entry. They have a start date and an end date.
2. The validity of your TRV and if it is a multiple (as you say) then as long as it is valid you can return.

Just to add to PMM your work permit is not a travel document it is your TRV that you need to be multiple entry. Your work permit simply gives you a reason to be in Canada for the validity of the work permit.
