Hi Guys,

I have ordered my GCMC notes and i strongly believe that my application will get rejected. So i want to reapply again now itself under CEC. can you guys suggest if i can have 2 applications running under CEC simultaneously.

Response will be greatly appreciated.

I am calling for the same to CIC right now and on hold... lol.. ...Will let you know. :)

But I strongly believe the answer is NO.

Just curious, have you ever got the medical or RPRF?

Just get off the call. As expected, the answer is no. I asked for the website link where this is mentioned but its not written any where. However, call centre agent was sounded very confident for the information and said if there is already a application in process the CIO will return your second application.

Would you mind to share why do you think your application will be rejected? Can't you follow up with the notes and send them additional document.

This is common procedure for processing anything in Government, or even in some of the private sector... You can't apply for the same thing twice in a row... It'll be treated as the same application.

Thanks for the reply GUYS so is there any possibility that i can revoke my first application and go for the second one..

What is the reason to believe your application will get rejected?

I think it's possible to withdraw your application. I've seen people try to do this on this forum...

Whatever the reason that you think for the refusal is, would effect your second application also. If you think withdrawal of first application will delete all the record from CIC then it is not true. they will still keep your file and just close it. On the other side, if you think you will explain your situation in second application then you can do the same for your existing application too.

There is only one rejection/withdrawal reason that will not effect your second application is eligibility because of less experience, NOC code, jobs and responsibility or like that.

Hi canadacec123,

Would you mind if I ask you why do you want to send second application if you already received MR?

My first application was rejected and then I reapplied and also followed up with Ottawa to re-open my first file. Luckily, they re-opened my file and sent me the medical. Now, since, my second application is at CIO, I want to know how it will affect my first application.

Wow. What a mess... Best of luck. Hopefully it will get sorted out successfully.
