MSP Vancouver

Dear all,
I moved to Vancouver 2 months ago. I applied for MSP more than a month ago, however, haven't received my card yet. Could you please tell me how long it will take for me to get my card?

Also, can anybody recommend me a good obstetrician in Vancouver.

It is not a big problem. As usual they are working very slowly.

If you moved in June, you will not be eligible for a health card until Sept. 1st, that is after 2 months plus the balance of the month when you moved. You can see this at http://www.health.gov.bc.ca/msp/infoben/eligible.html#who

Just in case you don't receive it in the time you should call the Victoria office and ask for the number.
Another way to find you MSP insurance # is to ask it at a doctor's office.
In case the mail is lost or you have moved to another address it may be useful.
