Msc Mechanical engineering(research based) in Canada

Hi Everyone!
Can anybody guide me about my chances of securing admission for Msc Mechanical engineering having a profile written below.
I am not being ambitious to think about UBC,McGill,UoT,McMaster with this CGPA but is there a possibility to secure admission in any mid tier like
1.Ryerson
2.Carleton
3.Ottawa
4.UOIT
5.Alberta (ambitious)
6.Calgary(ambitious)


CGPA 2.80/4.00 (70%,first division)
IELTS: 7.5 Band
Exp 1 year (FMCG plus part time solar light costing)
Research Project: 1
Did a research project initiated for the first time in Pakistan reltaed to energy systems(renewable energy)-funded by Higher education commission(HEC),Pakistan
Research paper: No

With 2.8 GPA I think you should try Memorial University of Newfoudland. However, In my knowledge, for research based all you need is to convince a supervisor for yourself and to be honest, that's a really tough job.
