Hello Canph,

i'm new here in this forum and i'm planning to apply for MPNP.

I've just taken the IELTS and got the overall score of 6, have started creating the online application and i'm in the process of completing all the requirements. My friend who is already in Winnipeg said that i need to apply online in order to obtain a file number.

By the way, i will be applying for General stream.

Nice to hear regarding your preparation and application. Good IELTS score as well congrats.
So how about adding time line, country, and visa office as well.

Booked IELTS on 17th December, applying under GS, probably by Jan second week of 2014.
 
hi Canph,

Good luck with your IELTS exam! my score is all 6.5 (L,W,S) except for the reading which is only 5, so overall is 6 and i think it's okay for the MPNP application. i was just confused whether it is CLB 6 or 7... Do you have any idea?

Me and my family are based in Dubai, UAE so we will apply here in Canadian embassy in Abu Dhabi. I will apply most probably by January next year too as I've checked my passport and it's expiring on January 16, 2014, will apply for a new one next week.

I am from Philippines by the way :)

Hi Marcus, nice to hear from you.
That score will do for MPNP, you will be probably CLB 6 it is good score.

Its good decision that you are applying for new pp. Probably even I will be applying in the month of January if things go as planned.
I am working in India, in the area of public health which is your area and occupation.
Are you the single applicant or married with spouse and kid.

Hey guys, please help..
I am working here permanent job with Work Permit & willing to apply MPNP under Employer steam as they are supporting. I have open online MPNP account & I didn't find any option to select application is Employer/General/Family stream?

How do they decide whether application is Employer stream based or General/Family stream based? Will I get or already have any option to select that?
