hi rose,

download IMM EP 7000 it will guide you how to pay and how to answer every form correctly..
try this link....http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-application.asp
others in the forum including me paid thru our relatives in canada cause you have to pay it ONLY in canadian dollars. so we had our documents completed here in P.I> then mailed it to the sponsors and they bought bank draft there i Canada and mailed our application to CIO, Nova scotia..

Dear rose0206,

Let me answer your question There are two diffrent fees you need to pay after getting your approval first you will transfer your file to CIO NS sydney canada and you will send $550 for each appicant and spouse Note:If your dependent child is less then 22 years age you need to send $150 for that Dependent. and then after getting the approval from CIO and Medicals Done you will send another fees to your Visa Office in your country That fees is called RPRF (Right Of Permanent Residency Fees) that is $490 for all applicants including your all dependents like: your spouse and all accompaning Depandents along with you.I hope it helps

Thanks & Regards

RPRF is only for the principal applicant and spouse. According to CIC:

"You will have to pay:

The processing fee for you and your dependants must be paid when you apply. It is not refundable, even if your application is not approved.

The Right of Permanent Residence fee (RPRF) for you and your accompanying spouse or common-law partner, if applicable. You will need to pay this fee if your application is approved. It must be paid before Citizenship and Immigration Canada issues your permanent resident visa. This fee is refundable if you cancel your application, if your application is not approved, or if you do not use your visa."

hi all,

thanks for all the info. It would help a lot. Still have another concern,we had just received letter frm mpnp stating that lacking info in disclosing personal info section from the application form.
We're planning to send the reply earliest next week. My question is how long does it take again to wait?

Timeline:
Oct 2011 sent the application
Nov 2011 received file #
June 2, 2012 received a letter stating lacking of info

thanks again,
