MP Assistance

I sought assistance from the local MP as I was getting one message today from CIC Call Centre Agents and something very different the next time, so much so that I tried 2 times in a day and got two conflicting messages. The MP's office got back and said they have been advised that everything is on file and the only thing remaining is "Background Checks". I think I saw somewhere in another thread that this appears to be the classical generic response - right?

Yes thats correct , they are saying me the same answer "background check" ever from since 6 months .my file went to second review in June 2014 and waiting from then
