Hi all, I am missing of $700 for the LICO in 2013 as I recently got married and family size increased. If I move to Quebec on 1 Jan 2017 to submit my application, will there be any problem? I heard so many people did it last year and they returned after the application was submitted, not sure if that is contravending any law but PR has the right to live anywhere right?

If you move out of Quebec before your parents are approved for PR, you can expect CIC will re-evaluate based on outside-Quebec rules and your app could be rejected.

You need to move to Quebec and remain there until you parents' application is approved if you want this to have any chance of succeeding. I haven't heard of anyone doing what you have described successfully.

Asking for a friend, Scylla - does a PGP sponsor have to live and work in Quebec? My friend lives in Quebec but has recently got a job that he could do virtually for a Canadian company based in Vancouver. Thanks!
