Hello,

I have a question in regards to declaring my goods when moving from USA to Canada. I will be driving a van with all my stuff in boxes. I know that i need to fill out a form describing everything that im bringing into Canada. Now, my question is how detailed does that list need to be? For example, do i need to write down the amount and the description of the item like this ( 6 pairs of shoes, 7 t shirts, 2 dresses?) OR can i just say 1 box full of clothes, 1 box full of shoes, 1 box of hair care, beauty supplies etc.? Ive been looking around and can't seem to find the answer to this, hoping someone can help. Thank you in advance!

I have read of people just using a general list like 2 boxes of household goods, 3 boxes of clothes, etc.
