Hi all,

I am looking to move to Victoria BC in the next few months from the US and I have my current Canadian Passport but have misplaced my birth certificate (I'm a dual citizen). I can't find too much info on what I need to do exactly to cross the border during Covid. My current employer is a US-based tech company and I will be keeping my job but will be working remotely. Are there immigration documents or applications I need to fill out to be able to move up there permanently?

Any advice for assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

A valid Canadian passport is enough. There are no restrictions for citizens to enter Canada.

If you're importing items from the US, check the customs provisions; you will likely need to provide itemized lists for customs:

Also have a quarantine plan; if you don't have one, you will be sent to a government facility (which is a hotel, so maybe not a bad deal, lol).
