Okay. I live in America, And I was wondering if I'd be able to move to Canada at 16? I've read up on the laws, And I'm legally able to move out with or without my parents consent in both Canada and America... But would type of system would I need to go through? I'd be living with a legal adult In Canada, And I'd be going to school there and I would have a job. Would I be able to just transfer schools and live with my friend and return to America in the summer? Like, live in Canada as a transfer student? Or would I be able to actually just... live there? Could you please explain the laws they'd have? LIKE would I have to get a visa or is this physically impossible?

You would have to apply for a study permit to go to public high school and pay international fees. You would also need a work permit and a LMIA which an employee will have to pay for which says that they were unable to hire a Canadian applicant. It is not like going to another state. You can stay with your friend as a visitor (no job or school) for up to 6 months a year without having ro apply for any special visas.

The only realistic option at 16 years old is a study permit. For regular public high school this will cost around $15K per year in tuition (more for private school) - plus you'll need an additional $10K in living expenses per year. So you'll need to show a bank balance of at least $25K just to be approved.

Note that you won't be able to work as a foreign high school student in Canada. So you would have to forget about having a job.
