If you entered and stayed legally in the US for a period of more that one year, what is the process at the boarder on the US side after getting your FSW PR visa and you are landing by road. Assuming you are exporting two cars and some furniture...

You have nothing to do with the US boarder office. Entering Canada boarder through any state in the North America need not require to see the US Boarder Officials.

While crossing boarder you directly enter to the Canadian gate where your landing process will take place. If you have used personal effects that would be allowed free without customs. Usually they won't care for new or old if you carry reasonable quantity of personal stuff.

Regarding your vehicles you have to check the rules for importing vehicles to Canada from USA. See the CBSA website for details.

The OP has to send the titles to the US Customs 72 hours before s/he wishes to export his vehicles. So s/he has to attend the export office as well see: http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/trade/basic_trade/export_docs/motor_vehicle.xml For Import to Canada see: www.riv.ca
