Moving Outside Canada Temporarily - possibility

Hi everyone,

I am really confused these days, please help me.

I have submitted application for Spouse Sponsorship last month when I was a Permanent Resident living in Canada. My wife lives in Pakistan.

This month I have become Canadian Citizen. Can I move to Dubai or Pakistan and work there and come back with wife when her Permanent Resident application gets completed?

Please let me know the options. Thank you....

Yes. You will need to update IRCC of your address change and should expect a request to submit proof of intent to return to Canada before the app is approved.
