Hi I applied CEC last year in October and then moved to US. Now I have been living in US for 8 months. Do I need to submit FBI police clearance?

Thanks,
Sky

I dont think so unless CIC specifically ask for that!
I have been living in the states for a while now after my application.
CIC didnt ask for mine and therefore, I didnt submit it!

Hi skyinvan,

if you haven't informed CIC about your new residential address yet you will have to do so immediately, you can inform them online via Ecas, you can also email the CPP-ottawa.if you have done so already then there is nothing to worry about.
since you have been living in the US for 8 months and your application is in process, most likely you will be asked to provide FBI clearance, this will usually come along with medical request or RPRF or both.

good luck.

Hi,

thanks for your answer. You somehow sound like a visa officer lol.

I've already informed CIC right after my move. I will submit FBI clearance.

Sounds similar to mine... Check my timeline, Neither the FBI clearance nor the RCMP PCC was asked. So just relax and wait for the communication from CIC unless you want to get and have them handy.

Good luck!
