move to canada with work permit

Hi

I am indian and i have been Working in london for 8 months now.my uk visa expires on 14th april 2014 and according to thé Ict short term visa rules i cant Continue Working here and have to go back to same company( india office) where i came from.apparently there is à cooling off period of 12 months and i cant extend my visa because of thé cooling off périod.

So i want to move to canada and hunt for a job there in april 2014.
Is it possible to get à work permit without à job offer.
And is it feasible to get à sponsorship from à company in canada if i give interviews from uk.
I work here in london as a QA engineer (IT).

Can some one suggest me if it is possible and what options i have.

Note that at this time you cannot "move" to Canada. If you can get an approved visitor visa, then you can visit as a tourist.

No - it's not possible to get a work permit without a job offer. To qualify to apply for a work permit, you must first find an employer in Canada who is willing to offer you a job and then that employer must obtain an approved Labour Market Opinion. As part of this process, the employer must prove that they have advertised the job and no qualified Canadian could be found for the role. Unfortunately it is very difficult to find a job as a QA analyst if you are a foreigner since there are many Canadians with the necessary qualifications to do these jobs.

So are you saying i cant get any other visa except for a tourist visa without à job offer?
And say i get à job in canada and visa too how long will it take before i can apply for a PR there?

Without a job offer and approved LMO, your only option is a tourist visa.

It's difficult to answer your second question because is depends on the job you get and your province of employment.
