Hey everyone,

I'm trying to sponsor my parents to come to Canada, so some of the documents I'm required to submit include a birth certificate (proving my relationship with my parents) and my marriage certificate (proving my relationship with my spouse). However, my mom's first name for both these documents are a nickname she used to have. Her legal name she uses for her passport and for my application is "Jesusa", while her nickname that shows on my birth and marriage certificates is "Susan".

What should I do? Should I just describe the situation in a Letter of Explanation (LOE), or is there other documents I should provide to prevent any rejection or delays, such as an affidavit or maybe my wedding invitation (if that proves my relationship with my parents since their names are on there).

Any help is greatly appreciated!
