Hi all,

My mother got her PR when she did her landing in 9 August 2022 and she left Canada on 27 November 2022 and so she roughly spent 3.5 months in Canada.

Due to obligations in her home country, she had to stay long and is planning to come in next few months. Just wanted to double check what would be the cut off for her?

There is no cut off. If PR card still valid then she enters. She doesn't renew until she meets residency obligations.

Even if the card has expired, she would still be allowed to enter Canada. Not having a valid card could be an issue for a commercial carrier, however.

Based on the dates given above, your mother will no longer be able to meet her residency obligation after 27 November 2025 (assuming she did not leave Canada during her first stay, i.e. between her landing date and 27 November 2022).

If possible, she should return to Canada before 27 November 2025 to prevent any issues at point of entry. Otherwise, there is a chance she could be reported for failing to meet the RO, which could lead to loss of PR. The chance is probably smaller with only a few days of shortfall, but it is not zero. The only way for her to retain her PR with 100% confidence is to return prior to this date.
