Hi guys.
Planning on moving to New Brunswick. The housing is very cheap there. I just found a house for 120K CAD. I am flexible with the down payment (can be up to 40%).
My question is, if I can get a mortgage with my overseas income, coming from a business I run in Europe?
My business has been operating for over 3 years, good books to show on the application. Good credit history. My wife is Canadian, however we both live in Europe.
Please help if you know the answer.

Do you have a job in NB? Family in NB? Housing is less expensive but salaries are lower and jobs are harder to find. You will need to speak to a mortgage broker. Yes it is likely that you can use your overseas income but you may end up with a higher mortgage rate.
