Montreal applicants 2024 timeline?

Just wondering how fast Montreal is going. I submitted in late March. I know it varies person to person but I'm curious. I'm not going to have expectations from it.

I know 5 people who applied last summer in Montreal. 4 got it in 3 or 4 months, the last person is still waiting for the BG and security checks...

Awesome. I don't need it urgently but I was curious and a little nervous. My PR process was ridiculous. My case should be straightforward, I only spent like 15 days outside Canada so we'll see how the background stuff goes. I'm not sure how that works and if I'll need fingerprints or something. Thank you for the answer, I feel a little better.

I completed the exam in September 2023，but still waiting for the lpp to complete.
My child’s application took 33 months to complete.

Yeah, I see your timeline. That's ridiculous. My app probably would go faster if I did it in French. Legault doesn't want my kind here, I'm not planning on staying in Quebec though. I say this because I don't believe he doesn't have a say on whose hired to work there and doesn't limit English speaking staff. I'm betting there's like two people on staff that speak English. This province is ridiculous.
