Upfront
It seems that I incorrectly assumed that all emails would come to me, the sponsor. However it seems that I was incorrect and they go to the applicant after the SA, which makes sense.

I'm now utterly terrified that we missed an email from them especially since our application states in process and I know they may not even have it yet since I only mailed it last week.

Is there any way to find out if we missed correspondence? Call center? Email? Pray? :p

I realize this is my error. It isn't in jus inbox but that doesn't preclude his junk mail filter.

Any advice?

They may not have the FBI clearance yet. Boy I need to learn to proofread.

ECAS usually updates to say when they sent you documentation. They send emails for AOR, SA, and then if they need additional docs during IP, then PPR if required.

If you sent it last week, it's doubtful you'll even have AOR yet, it takes at least a few weeks.

Ah, so you mean if I'm monitoring ecad it'll say if action needs to be taken?

We got SA about a month ago and it now says in process for the applicant part as of August 18. If there was a deficiency, they would note it in ecas?

I'm confused, you said in the original post you only sent it last week, I guess you mean the FBI cert? Yes, if they needed documentation, you would see in ecas that they sent you something. If you are looking for the AOR and SA emails to know what to expect, search for "citizenship" and they should show up, unless you deleted them.

Let me try again, I'm sorry . Screaming children who are now in bed.

I, the sponsor received the AOR and SA, in my email account. From everything I'm reading, requests for additional documentation or information about approval should go to my husbands email, the applicant.

With the number of people in my June applicants thread who are being asked for additional documentation that they are certain they sent, I'm now concerned that we missed communication from the CIC. I'm specifically concerned because I know there was a hole in our application as we have only just sent the FBI clearance and I doubt it's even been attached to our file yet.

He hasn't received any emails in his inbox but we weren't monitoring his junk mail as I was monitoring mine instead.

Ok, so if they needed something it would show up in ecas as well as getting an email. I think.

Yes, that is what I was pointing out :D

But eCas is not so reliable.
Also I don't think that show what documents they ask when checking online.
During my process I had to change my email address. I just emailed then with my info and my new electronic address. Not a big deal.

Yea, but if they missed something way back as the OP fears, it likely would have shown up in ECAS by now. Plus I think if they require additional documentation they email both parties.
