Dear members,i'm new to this forum.i have received my PR visa for canada.My query is that initially i was to show 14000 CAD as proof of funds during the processing of my case.am i to take the whole amount with me when i land in canada?if so,then in which form?cash?or some other form.kindly assist me with this query.thanks

Yes, u are supposed to show the required min amount depending on how many people are going with u. U can bring with them in the forms of cash, cheques or TT, all up to u entirely.

If you bring cash you can open account in any Bank near to your residence in Canada, after getting the SIN. This can be done within the first three four days itself.
