Money Deducted...what next?

Hi,
I tried to find an existing thread but could not.

I had sent initial application and see that money has been deducted. What next?
Should I wait to hear from them? How do I get file number/case number and
how much time does it take to receive it?

Hi Paul,

Max time for AOR from CIO is 3 months as per SOP but average time usually is 1 to 1.5 months. they will send you the letter through email (if u have given ur email in the forms) or letter at ur postal address. do check your emails regularly. The email/letter from them will include ur file number plus basic instructions on further proceedings.

After the fees are chraged you get a AOR. If you have provided an e-mail address it wil take about 2-10 days to get AOR or will get it in mail, consider postal delays incase of e-mail

But dear ankit my DD has charged more than 4 weeks before and till date I have not received any email or post mail of AOR. What do you think is there any problem. total days now almost 72.
