Simplified:
Basically I am an EU citizen who has spoken fluent French/English since I was 10 years old and did a top university program in Canada that was 30% or so in French. PGWP was/actually is still valid but I went back home because of what I thought was a great opportunity.
I have been working at a major EU based startup for the last 6 months as a digital marketing analyst, fully paid, have paystubs, experience letter, even work portfolio and the like.
At the same time, as my dream is to start a remote based marketing agency before moving back to Canada (to not be dependent so much on the job market there), I am registered as an official freelancer in my country, also counting my hours officially reporting it to my government tax agency and paying taxes and charging sales tax, currently only doing small projects. I did not plan to count the hours before for FSW.
However I have been told that due to budgetary reasons, my contract will almost certainly not be extended in around a month and it will take time to find a new role.
A family member genuinely needs help with their business to implement a SEO strategy and is willing to pay 15 hours a week under a freelance contract, he is willing to provide an exact letter with what I did and I also will be keeping my own hour log (government already requires it to get that tax incentive) of exactly what I did and with work portfolio, as well as work emails. He will have to pay hourly, as well as pay sales tax and official invoice will also list the work done.
I know FSW questions are not popular right now because of what some people try to do but:
-Am I allowed to do this while I find a new job and have it count as my FSW experience in marketing remaining continious, what happens if I do begin a new paid role in say 6 weeks or so or if that role is Canada (got invited for IEC and PGWP is still valid for 9 months)?
-Can the remote freelance experience keep counting if I were to use IEC to already move back?
-If I were to find a new part-time contract job either in my country or Canada, can I keep counting those freelance hours?
Thank you so much, again just looking for clarification on the rules.
