please help me i am really mixed....my SA on August 20....i received a mail saying this....some days before i entered with my UCI(i am Canadian sponsoring my husband) and i see a diagram saying what happens....application status in process says....with red colour....but there is no link on it to click and to see when they started)if they have really started)to process....is this a general diagram for all the applications?are we in process or not?

You really need to relax. This is a long process and if you're getting this wound up now - you're going to give yourself a nervous breakdown by the end. I'd recommend you stop checking ECAS for a while (give it a break for at least a week). It really tells you very little about the actual status of your application anyway.

Someone may be working on your application right now or they may not. What's written in ECAS isn't going to tell you what specifically is happening with your application at this exact time.

My husband's ECAS never seems to reflect what was happening. Heck, "decision made" didn't pop up until around a week after he had actually landed.

Agree 100% with scylla, stop checking for a few MONTHS. EVERY step of the way, we found out "before" ECAS was updated. It served us no purpose at all.

Ecas tells you next to nothing... if you really want to know, better order your GCMS notes. But they take a month (or more?) to arrive.

If you got SA in late August, you're still going to be waiting a while... don't worry yet. It's too early to worry!

thanks alotfor the answers ::)))just got curious what ıs ECAS:::::but as i see they dont update ıt often....ı have changed my address and yet at ECAS ı can see the old one..........anyway thanks alot

ninakap, I remember from the day you started the application process till now, you've always been extremely paranoid about the littlest things. Please just relax and stop worrying about things like these. Scylla is right, eCAS does not update very often anyway and are late to update, no need to check it so much. If you stop checking the status so much your application will seem to go by faster.

It took them about 2 months to update our address change on ECAS... so really, as everyone else says, probably ECAS is the last place you'll learn anything new :P

ninakap - like mikeymike said, a lot of your posts are based on a lot of worry over small things. Now I know that I can be a little OCD about stuff and fretted over so many tiny details during the sponsorship process. But you make me look nonchalant (which is hard!)!. Just try to relax a bit - I know it is hard. This process will take some time.
