Guys,
I sent spousal sponsorship package some days ago and just found out I filled out the following with wrong info.
1. The principle applicant's father place of birth ( contradictory to my wife birth certificate where her dad info is indicated )
2. My own mother name. I missed the middle name.
Now, what will happen? Should I email the correction after file no is received? Or my case in affected?

After you receive your application number send the corrected forms via webform along with a letter of explanation that it was an honest mistake and what exactly did you correct in those forms. Should be no issues.

Oh thank you! Should my spouse also sign the forms? She is not living in Canada and that would be a hassle.

You can send those forms via webform with yours and your spouses scanned signatures. I think just as long as you let them know about those mistakes and acknowledge them it should be ok.

@shahiniamin just take the hassle - it should be worth it. If a signature is required, just tell your spouse to print the form, sign it and send it to you in Canada using courier service. Once you receive it, you can sign them and send them over to CIC
