Mistake in Background form, Could this a Problem?

I submitted my full application 8th June 2009, means like 12 days ago. Today I was rechecking documents and just found that I made mistake on Background decleration , Extra sheet.


I lefted empty place for date Till in 2 places. Bellow it is exectly what I did,

From TO activity city/town/coountry name of compy/employer etc
03-2007 "empty" filled filled filled
08-2005 "empty filled filled filled



first line I forgot to fill date, its my self employed work, I am working as self employed from 03-2007 to "present" . Although, I submitted a coomplete explanation letter for my self employed activities and etc where I have written "present" but I forgot in extra sheet background declaraation forum.

Second line I forgot is , 08-2005 to "present" , its the date what I moved to my recent place and I am living here.


I have 16 activities included in this extra sheet for background decleration where I forgot empty these 2 boxes for "present" only. What do you think and advise me guys, would that be okay, it will work or it could be problem in delay/refuse etc. If its okay to explain the, would this be okay to send one email with attach copy of " extra sheet background decleration with written present" ?? It has been passed 120 days limit already.

Write a letter to them with the correction or send a new form with a letter.

I think 08-2005 line should have a definite end date with your old company and where you lived and then the 03-2007 can have 'present' as to part with your current work and city, etc.

i agree with what new2canada wrote above. This is what i would do.
Also it is a bit confusing to have two "present" in there. You should change it. Perhaps you could give us an example on how you did it.

if you were working in different company but in the same city, write that as two lines with one definite end.
If you were working in one company in two different city, write that as two lines with one definite end.

Rupeshhari, Its a extra sheet for background decleration on "personal history". I have 16 entries for personal history from 1995 antill now. In entry number 2, its about my activity as self employed, I am working since 2006 till now. Here I forgot to write "present" , 2006 to " lefted empty".


Second same I forgot to write "present" on same page one other entry, its about my travel. I would say, I travel in 2005 to my curent place and antill now I am here. So, 2005 to "present" , I forgot this present too. Actually, i created extra sheet and I was thinking I will fill up laater with haand, but its gone forver. Now as you advised, Should me send letter or email with attachment would be fine, or just one email with explanation?

Hey Mahharrouf, I am confused. Tell me if I am correct in what I am saying. In 2005 you moved to your current place and in 2006 you started working (as self-employed).

Is it like this:
032007 - present, self-employed, your place of residence
082005 - 032007, unemployed, your place of residence

If not message me with a clear example.
