Misspelt name on Biometric letter

My first name is incorrectly spelt on my biometric request letter. Is it fine or does it need to be fixed? Can it be fixed at the VAC?

You have to fix it. Send a letter for correction to VAC with explanation along with your passport copy, most probably they will issue a new Biometric letter with correct name.
