Misspelled name of grandparent on certificates who has passed away

Dear all,

I found that my grandparent's name were misspelled on the birth certificates of his children. How can I explain this spelling mistake? He has passed away many years ago. I have sent all the certificates proving relationship already. Would I be requested to take further actions?

Please kindly advise.
