Missing UCI Number in the Application

Hi everyone,

I have already submitted my application under CEC this MAY. I left the UCI number blank in the IMM0008 Generic form, but not until today was I told that I have a work permit which has my UCI number...

......

So my question is.... will my application be returned? (The copy of my work permit is included.. if there is the UCI number, then there is...)

If so, how long do I expect to get the returned documents...?

Or is there anything I can do to make it up?

Or there is nothing I need to worry..?

I highly doubt it will be returned. CIC will simply verify your UCI from your work permit copy.

Should be fine - or they might even give you a new one because when they emailed me my AOR - it came with both my file # and a brand new UCI number even though I've already had an UCI # from my PGWP

You don't have to worry about UCI#. If you submitted a copy of your work permit or Visa stamp it will your UCI#. They wont issue you new one as it remains same on every Immigration document. They will fill it out for you, and even if you don't write it they will find it out as soon as they feed your information into their system.

Also, the instruction guide says that the UCI can be left blank if you don't know it.

I also left it blank and got the AOR last week. Think you would be ok too.
