Hello,

Name of my wife in her COPR is missing last part. Her name is XX XXX XXX XXX DE XXX , while on COPR, its only XX XXX XXX XXX D. I asked the girl at embassy who hand over documents, she replied it's doesn't matter as name of your Wife was so long and couldn't fit whole name.

Just wondering, is that okay or it may create an issue at Airport Immigration?

Thanks

I have seen another thread like that, it doesn't matter because they have only so much space to squeeze name in, so just tell P.O.Entry officer that so that they put right one in the system.

Thanks a Million "ahmadtajwer" for reply. Just asking for a bit more, if you kind enough to pull out that thread and paste a link here, would be highly appreciated. Once again, thank you.

Though it appears hidden/unseen it is actually there in their record in full. Once you land you can make sure that her documents in Canada relief her full name. I had to do that myself.

hello there...i hope this link will help you out recrifying the error that you are talking about...

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/amend.asp

download the form fill it and send it across to the provided address..things will be fine...also to tell you, the COPR form can have only 15 characters to fit, so if ur given names is more than 15 characters, still they will have your full record of ur right name...anyway, just try it out and c if its useful to you....
