Missed the date for Medical request by 15 days already

Hi everyone,

I reside in Montreal, Quebec and have applied for the Permanent Residency in September last year. So, a month back on Feb 15th, 2018, I received a medical request but I totally missed reading that email and have just noticed it. Now, the date is March 29th and I have missed the 30 day deadline to do the medical examination by a long shot. Since, it's already been 45 days since I received that letter.

I tried contacting IRCC to notify them but I am just being on hold indefinintely and have not been able to speak to them yet. Do any of you know what the result will be as in the letter it says that the delay to do a medical exam may result in the refusal of your application.

Have any of you encountered this situation before ?? Please advice

I have the same problem just right now, can you share what action you took to fixed it so I can also apply, and what is the result ? Is everything ok now?
