So I come back to work this morning after my weekend to find a missed call on my office phone.. after looking up the number, the code turned out to be one in Nova Scotia - Canada.
Tried calling back, busy tone all the time, so it seems it's not a number for incoming calls, plus seems to be longer than a normal reachable number (00902-124584000).
Last i heard from CIC is when they sent me my PER e-mail notifying me that I’ve received a positive eligibility review and my application was being forwarded to the visa office (which in my case is Abu Dhabi) and that any future communication from that point on would be with the visa office directly.
Based on that, i just submitted an enquiry to the visa office explaining that i got that call outside of business hours, and that I’m reachable at all times on my mobile number as indicated in my application form. Ofcourse i have to wait for 28 business days to hear back on my enquiry.. hence delaying my process.
Is there anything else i need to do here? Was it right to get in touch with the visa office although it's a Nova Scotia number?
Appreciate your thoughts on this.
Many thanks.
