Hi Experts/Senior,

Would appreciate of someone advise.

Currently I am on PGWP. I was reviewing my PGWP application and came through question 2b. Have you ever been refused any kind of visa, admission, or been ordered to leave Canada or any other country. which I checked as No.
Fact is, back in 2005 and 2006 my study visa apps were refused for UK. I realize I did this unintentionally as I misunderstood the question.

So when submitting application for CEC should I declare these refusals or no. I think it is gonna be misrepresentation in either way.

Please advise to bypass this kind of problem.

This is very unfortunate. While you may be able to get away with not declaring the refusals in your CEC application, it is likely to be far more damaging if CIC do discover them than if you are upfront about it.
If I was in your position, I'd take the chance of being completely truthful and declare them.

Let see.

I will declare those refusals in CEC. I am hopeful as I still have a chance to declare them. But one thing I would advise to viewer to please read each and every question thoroughly and do not just to skim and scan. I also checked my study permit app which I filled back in 2011 and the same question is not asking anything about visa refusals to any other country and it was the reason for the blunder I made on my PGWP app as I compared but never read thoroughly.

I am hopeful things will be fine.

Ooooh this "or any other country" at the end makes it a tricky question. Damn those *censored word*s I also declared No but now I remember I had a visa denial to the US like over 14 years ago :-\

I still got PR though, so it doesn't doesn't look like they care about this much :) It's still best to declare this as it shouldn't hurt your chances for CEC.

PS they are censoring "Ba$tards" on this forum?

Hello se7ven,

I was wondering what happened to your case? What was the response after you have email them? Did that affect you application?
