I have opened an Express Entry account. Everything is fine, only I am a bit confused about proper NOC selection.
I have 6+ years of experience in three different companies with the job titles of ‘Copywriter’, ‘Copy Group head’ and ‘Manager, Marketing’ respectively for 3 years 8 months, 2 years 3 months and 7 months.
Regardless of the job titles, most of my job responsibilities of these three jobs are matched with NOC 1123 (Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations).
But my job titles ‘Copywriter’ and ‘Manager’ reflect two different NOCs (though all the duties do not match) – 5121 & 0124 – most importantly, which are also in the exclusion list of NOC 1123.
In this case, what should I do? Can I select NOC 1123 with all my actual job titles?
And would I follow the same instruction for Job Bank also?
Please suggest. It will be really helpful for me.
