minor travelling parents but applying seperately

I am a srilankan. I got a canada trv from paris where im wotking now. So now i didnt travel to canada still soim planning to take my vacation together withy family in srilanka

Im married in srilanka amd my wife is a pakistani living with me in srilanka under resident visa amd i have a kid of 2 years


So when i apply for trv for my wife and the kid do i need to submit a letter of authorization for the kid. But im joining my family from colombo airport tocanada
