minor spelling mistake in the Place of Birth

Hi !

If there is a minor spelling mistake in the Place of Birth in my passport, will it affect my Immigration process?

It should be "seramnagar"

but in passport it's : "sreramnagar"

Can you help me i have same problem in my passport it is written as GANGORI but in birth certificate iy is written as GANGOURI. U is extra in birth certificate . Is it will affect me during PR in Canada . Please help me.

You can attach notarized affidavit of discrepancy on your birth certificate

I believe the correct is the spelling written in your passport if that is the case just attached affidavit of discrepancy on your birth certificate

Correct spelling is in birth certificate, but in all my documents wrong spelling mention.

Is verification of birth certificate Is done CIC , as I can use translatrd birth certificate with correcting the spelling in it

Get it corrected on your passport ASAP.
