I applied for myself and my minor son together as paper application in February-2023. I have completed my oath on August 10th and downloaded e-certificate on August 17th.
For my minor son, I did not even receive oath invite email and upon asking during ceremony, clerk told me that my son is not scheduled for ceremony. I tried calling IRCC twice. First time, agent told me that my son is minor so he will not receive invitation and I will receive his certificate via mail along with mine with instruction what to do with his PR card. But after that I was able to download my ecertificate. During 2nd call, other agent told me that my son’s application is still not finalized but its in good condition and I don't need to do anything.
Since I already downloaded my certificate and my son’s application still shows as In Progress, I am little worried because as I know, minor application should be cleared with Parent application.
Can anyone advise if went through similar aituation?
