Hi there, please advice on the following situation:
A minor Canadian citizen living abroad wants to come and live in BC with her uncle (who is also a Canadian citizen). She wants to go to school here, but was told she is deemed as an international student, therefore she has to pay for her education. How is that possible? The School District is denying the right to free education to Canadian minor and is treating her as an International Student.
Thank you for your thoughts on this matter.
