minimum requirement for employer

Hi ,

Does the company that sponsors work visa for canadian immigration need to meet certain criteria?.
Ex: the company needs to have 50 employees, or the company needs to have 10% permanent residents or the company needs to have a 1 million turnover for year?

if so can u list what are the minimum criteria or provide a link of the url where the eligibility criteria for employers is listed .
