Hey, I've talked to several lawyers and certified immigration consultants and they
are basically saying you have to show a minimum of $400,000 net worth and
be ready to invest a ;)in order to qualify for the business immigration
application.

(This is in regards to the provincial programs)

My friend said that it can be done by only having to show $100,000.

Any help, guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Jad

My friend is wanting to immigrate from PAKISTAN into Canada

It's no longer 100,000. That law changed a couple of years ago. You now either freeze 800K for five years, or you pay them approx 350K instead of freezing 800K.

Yes I agree with you that law has been changed. One of my friend just moved to Canada and with heavy bank statement. So if you want to move there you must be shown them a big statement.
