My husband and I want to move to Ontario. He is a Canadian citizen with a tribal status. My question is, if we already have a home on the reserve, and the tribe intends to aid us until we are both established financially, will be expected to meet a minimum income? It's all so confusing to me as I go through the forms. Financially we are in a horrible situation in the U.S and there is no possible way that we can even dream of saving the funds expected of a family of 3 under general immigration. Thank you in advance!

There is no minimum income to sponsor a spouse. You just can't be on welfare/social assistance and cannot be bankrupt.
