minimum funds requirement

Hello all,

1-Is it fine if to have a financial guarantor instead of having the minimum funds required by CIC?
2-If it is, then how much money they should have in the bank to be considered in a good financial standing?
3-Is there a link to official documents talking about financial guarantors on CIC website / or any other reliable source?

I would think not as CIC wants to see that the funds belong to you.
