Hello All- my first time posting to the forum.

I've applied for an LMIA, and I got a refusal stating that I didn't meet the advertising requirements. I posted the ad to Job bank + 2 other job boards, one of which targets new immigrants.

The refusal stated that I needed one additional ad- that the requirements are job bank + 2 additional ads or more + 1 ad targeting under-respresented groups = total of 4 ads.

This conflicts what I was told by the TFW call center agents, and now I'm really frustrated. The website wording is ambiguous, and the call center told me I would only need 3 ads!!!

Can anyone help me understand who is right? And what are my options now? Can I appeal the LMIA refusal? Honestly this is ridiculous....

I would go with the official site:

http://www.esdc.gc.ca/en/foreign_workers/hire/median_wage/low/recruitment.page

This reads as four ads to me (job bank + 2 + 1).

The call centre provides generic advice only and can't be relied upon for complicated questions like this one.
