Pre-Assessed..
Hi, all, here is my situation. Sponering parent (2 people)
1. 2012 me, single (tax return) , my common law, single ( tax return)
2. 2013 and 2014 both are common law on tax return and satisfied min income per table.

Question arrised on 2012.
- how to i treat 2012 for minimal income calculation?
Do i add both income for 2012? ( which would satisfy min income)
Or, do i not add both income ( which i would be qualify for 3 people, but my parneter would not due to her low income that year.)

Please advise guys.

You have to meet the minimum income requirement for 4 people for 2012, 2013 and 2014 to qualify to sponsor your parents. You can combine your income and your common law partners income for all three years.

Thanks very much for reply.

One follow up question to clarify
4 person 2014 mininal 57125. Per table

So that means our 2012 2013 and 2014 income combined per year should surpass that 57125 mark?

So if our 2012 was 56000, this would not work.

Thanks very much

For family size of 4, you need to have combined income with your partner that totals:
2014 2013 2012
$57,125 $56,280 $54,685

2012 income of 56K is fine since it's greater than required MNI for 2012 of 54,685.
