Hi All !

I am planning to migrate under Medical Practioners category.I m an MBBS.Is it true that it is difficult for doctors to find jobs there and they generally end up doing odd jobs since the canadian govt does not recognize Indian degrees.
Please advise on the prospects of migrating as a doctor.

thanks

for MBBS recognition in canada :

you have to check this site :

http://www.mcc.ca/

for job finding : as i heared from freinds & forums you will have to pass the( nice struggle ) for 1 or 2 years till you establish your self.its worth it as the outcom is very rewarding.

good luck

In the form IMM0008 generic what should I mention as my occupation--since I am not working and am a housewife. Shall I put housewife or unemployed??{ I am a doctor by profession}.which is better?

What is ur employment history

I have 3 years work experience in Medical college and 1 year in a private clinic. after coming to UAE in early 2009 I started a family and thence I have been at home, as a housewife. what should I write then??

Write GP as there is no NOC correspond to housewife !

I have read in this forum somewhere that Govt of Canada is going to relax some rules for doctors immigrating in canada, hope for the best

write GP(unemployed)

but if u applied & u were unemployed , i think this is a negative mark for ur application
