Regards,

computer related job (IT) is no longer included in National Occupational Classification (NOC) after june 26 2010 under Federal Skilled Worker and AINP category is for H1B only. just check this link for more infos...

If your NOC is listed in the following eligible list for June 2010 to June 2011 you can apply under skilled worker category.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list

If your NOC is not available, you may check in future years or need to figure other eligible categories.

Hope this helps

Only NOC 0213 (IT mgr) accepted before June 26, 2010 bec it was included in 38 eligible occupations. You can apply if you have arranged employment.

I thought IT is not accepted anymore. Now that H1B in AINP could be a new hope for one of my friends who was seeking info and I was not aware of.

All I found was http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/immigrating/ainp-srs-US-visa-holder-criteria.html
that states it is not accepting after Oct 23rd, 2010. I maybe wrong though.

Can anyone please confirm if H1B in US in IT sector can apply under AINP ? If there is any link from gc.ca or any such that I can discuss with my friend?

Thanks in advance.

If your occupation is not listed in skilled worker (present) category,
the best thing is to try under arranged employment by fing job in Canada.

Good luck
Thanks

we dont have any option other than arranged employment ... or try getting job offer from some province like Saskatchewan ...that will be faster
