I am 48 yrs old widower having two kids aged 16 yrs and 13 yrs. I have approx 28 yrs of working experience with 22 years as Banker and lastly remained in senior positions.

I want to migrate to British Columbia with kids, so pls guide how to apply and which is the best route to apply.

As per points based assessment, I loose points due to age, no common law partner, no job offer, no study or stay in Canada and no reletive living there. However, the immigration firms still say I can get my case processed but I need to know exact processing track to understand it end to end.

Are you eligible for Express Etnry based on your age, education (ECA), language (IELTS) and work experience with at least 67 points? That is your first step. Draws are high with CRS scores over 520.

BC PNP programs require a job offer too so not sure what stream you are even eligible for. Read through the BC PNP website.

So you are not eligible for Express Entry then? For BC PNP your only option is a job offer, and then be nominated. However, you must still meet language requirements and complete ECAs. You chances are low as you are competing against highly skilled young people with masters degrees and high level English skills. Your NOC is not highly sought after like IT. If your agent is saying you will succeed, he may be just trying to get your money.

Do you have high net wealth to start a business through the Entrepreneur program in a remote community in BC? If so look at that.

From what I read I suggest not getting your hope up too high. Unless you have millions of dollars stashed away..

I'm sorry to say this but I don't think immigrating to Canada is going to be possible with this profile. I think the immigration agency is getting your hopes up when there's really extremely little chance of success.
