Microsoft certifications equivalence

Hey guys,

Years ago, I dropped out of university in the middle of the 2nd semester and started my own software company (boy that was a mistake )

Now I have 10+ years of experience, I can easily prove 6+ years.

I'm thinking about moving to Canada.

The only education / certification I got since then is these Microsoft certifications (still active):

• MCSD: Web Applications
• MCSD: Azure Solutions Architect

My questions are:

• Are these certifications recognized by WES Canada? If so, are they counted as equivalent to one year of university?
• Are these certifications in demand / appreciated by employers/companies in Canada?
